HBCF Business Lunch held on Friday, 14 June 2022

The 2022 HBCF Business Lunch was held at Seaworks, Williamstown. This year was the biggest ever, raising over $50,000! Thank you to our special guest, The Honourable Melissa Horne, Minister for Consumer Affairs, for making time to join us and personally donating a dinner for six people at her home to support our live Auction! We thank Justine Brogna, TreeHaus Williamstown, a former HBCF grant recipient, who spoke how the grant had made a difference in her life. We acknowledge the incredible support of our key sponsors, Symal (major event sponsor), Victoria University, Two Birds Brewery and Treasury Wines.

HBCF Charity Golf Day held 18 March 2022

The 7th Annual HBCF Charity Golf Day, kindly hosted by Kooringal Golf Club produced another fun day for everyone involved, while raising important funds for our local community. Proudly sponsored by Plenary Health, 70 players hit the tees to raise $14,000 for the Hobsons Bay Community Fund Grants Program. An enormous thank you goes to our Golf Hole sponsors including Altona Sports Club, Bendigo Bank, Keima Press, Mancini Real Estate, Hobsons Bay City Council and The Keep App. We are grateful to all the players for supporting the day and congratulate Adrian Davey and his team from the Birdcage Cafe for taking home the winners trophy! Over dinner, we were all moved to hear the heartfelt story from one of our grant recipients, Julie de Plessis from BubblingUp! on the impact and support they received from the Fund. An enormous thank you to Craig Eyes for delivering another fantastic event!

The 6th Annual HBCF Charity Golf Day, kindly hosted by Kooringal Golf Club and sponsored by Plenary Health, was an exciting return to post-COVID events! Over 70 players hit the tees to raise $10,000 for the HBCF grants program. The 2018 HBCF Business Lunch was held at the beautiful waterfront location of Seaview in Williamstown with over 200 attendees helping us to celebrate twelve years of supporting community groups and organisations in Hobsons Bay.
