Grants in Action Program - 2023 Grants


In 2023, the Hobsons Bay Community Fund provided $88,012.17 to 25 community projects across Hobsons Bay, under the Fair, Inclusive and Vibrant grant categories. This included $25,000 from the Complete Family Care Fund (El-Khoury Family Fund) directed towards Mental Health projects.

Leading Note Music Education - Community Support Grant of $3,000

Laverton Community Centre - Impact Grant of $9,810 via the Complete Family Care Fund

Reading Out of Poverty Incorporated - Community Support Grant of $3,000

Footscape Incorporated - Community Support Grant of $1,000

Grant to assemble 100 footcare kits to enhance foot health for homeless, Indigenous and Culturally & Linguistically Diverse people by improving access to necessary resources. Click here to find out more about the group.

Robina Scott Kindergarten - Community Support Grant of $900

Welcome West Wagon - Community Support Grant of $3,000

Hobsons Bay Dementia Soaring Falcons Alliance - Community Support Grant of $1,705

A newly formed group, the grant supports the initial work needed to create a dementia-friendly Hobsons Bay. This includes the running of the first dementia forum in Hobsons Bay.
